The Community
The place for cat talk: share your story, ask your question and vote on the nicest posts. No account needed — just get started.
A cat forum as it should be: warm, anonymous and hassle-free
The Community is the shared living room of Kattenkamer. Here cat owners share their nicest stories, silliest habits and most honest questions — from ‘why does my cat sleep ín the laundry basket?’ to serious questions about behaviour and care. You don’t need an account: pick a name (or just stay ‘Cat friend’), write your message and you’re in. With the arrows you vote posts up or down, so the nicest and most useful cat talk rises to the top all by itself.
Under every tool on Kattenkamer you’ll also find its own cat-talk corner. Questions about the food checker, tips for the kitten planner or experiences with the puzzle feeders— you post them straight on the page they’re about. That way cat owners help each other exactly where it’s needed.
Frequently asked questions about The Community
Do I need an account?
No. The Community works without registration, password or email address. Your browser remembers you anonymously via a functional cookie, so you can vote and your own messages are recognised. We store no personal data — your IP address too is only kept as an untraceable, encrypted code to fight spam.
How does it stay cosy here?
In three ways: an automatic filter keeps swearing, spam and advertising out; the community votes nasty posts down (at too low a score a post disappears automatically); and with the report button you alert the editors. Three reports from different visitors hide a post immediately.
Can I ask medical questions here?
You may ask anything, and the experiences of other owners are worth gold — but answers in The Community never replace the advice of a vet. In doubt about your cat’s health? Then always call your vet first.
